Akin is hiring a Lead Teacher to plan and implement child development services in an early learning classroom, oversee daily operations, develop lesson plans, support children and families, maintain confidential records, administer screenings, facilitate meals and events, and collaborate with multidisciplinary site staff. The role requires an Associate of Arts degree in Early Childhood Education or an equivalent credential, background checks, physical and vaccination requirements, and CPR and pediatric first aid certification within 30 days of hire. The target starting pay is $26.12–$30.69 per hour for an AA degree and $28.74–$34.48 per hour for a BA degree, with medical, dental, retirement, and paid time off benefits.
