Description
The Lead Teacher is responsible for the care and education of a group of children, supporting curriculum planning and implementation while maintaining a safe, healthy, and developmentally appropriate learning environment. The role includes daily health checks, classroom and playground safety, active supervision, child assessment, family communication, professional development, teamwork, and adherence to Georgia Pre-K, NAEYC, Quality Rated, and Head Start standards. A BA or BS in Early Childhood or a closely related field is preferred, and the position requires background checks, fingerprinting, and a drug test before hire.
