Description
The Lead Technical Designer, Local Creation Apparel will own fit, construction, and technical execution from concept through commercialization and production for assigned apparel styles. The role creates and maintains technical documentation, establishes fit and construction standards, manages prototyping, resolves manufacturing challenges, monitors product progress, and communicates with cross-functional partners. It reports to the Senior Manager, Technical Design and requires a bachelor’s degree in apparel design, textile science, or a related field, at least six years of directly relevant experience, and expertise in technical documentation, product specifications, and manufacturing collaboration. Proficiency with Adobe Illustrator, CAD pattern design software, and 3D apparel platforms such as CLO or Browzwear is preferred, along with the ability to travel up to 10% domestically and internationally.
