Skyryse is hiring a full-time Lead Technical Writer based in El Segundo, California, to own technical documentation from development through product launch for its aviation technology. The role involves creating operating and maintenance manuals, training materials, and other documentation; coordinating with engineers, project managers, pilots, and stakeholders; supporting version control, release systems, and Docs-as-Code workflows; and improving documentation quality through feedback and tracking. Candidates need a bachelor's degree in Communications, STEM, or a related field, at least five years of technical writing experience, and at least two years of aerospace industry experience, along with Microsoft Word and Adobe Acrobat proficiency. The position offers a base salary of $140,000 to $170,000, stock options, subsidized medical, dental, and vision plans, and paid time off.
