Commonwealth Fusion Systems is hiring a Lead Technician, Assembly Testing to lead a small team of 2–3 technicians in SASY testing activities for SPARC assembly. The role focuses on mechanical testing, including pneumatic pressure proofing and helium leak detection, while also performing assembly work in parallel. Responsibilities include supervising technicians, identifying and resolving issues, maintaining test documentation, coordinating with cross-functional teams, and maintaining safety standards. The position requires an HS Diploma, at least five years of hands-on mechanical testing experience, experience leading technician crews, high-vacuum hardware and vacuum-system experience, and occasional travel or night/weekend/on-call work.
