Description
The Lead Fleet Technician will diagnose and repair medium- and heavy-duty school buses and other fleet vehicles, including brakes, steering, suspension, drivetrains, electrical, cooling, and fuel systems. The role also oversees inspection readiness, preventive maintenance, repair quality, workflow, mobile repairs, and documentation, while partnering with the Maintenance Leader. Candidates need at least five years of medium- or heavy-truck fleet mechanic experience, one year of leadership experience or training, diesel and automotive diagnostic knowledge, and a high school education or equivalent. The position pays $34.00 per hour and includes medical, dental, vision, life insurance, holiday pay, PTO, and retirement savings benefits.
