Description
TEKsystems is seeking a Lead OSP Fiber Technician for a fully onsite, contract position in Chattanooga, Tennessee. The role leads and supports the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, testing, documentation, and quality assurance of outside-plant fiber optic infrastructure, including conduit, innerduct, handholes, vaults, underground and aerial networks. The technician will coordinate with project stakeholders, enforce safety practices, maintain as-built and test documentation, and provide technical guidance to field teams. The position requires at least two years of fiber optic telecommunications experience focused on outside-plant environments, field-crew leadership experience, and familiarity with fiber deployment, splicing, testing, and documentation. Pay is $25.00–$28.00 per hour, with potential medical, dental, vision, retirement, insurance, and other benefits.
