Description
The Lead Technician - Structured Cabling will lead a team of technicians in designing, installing, terminating, testing, troubleshooting, and maintaining copper and fiber optic cabling systems. The role includes site surveys, project planning, documentation, compliance with codes and safety guidelines, technical guidance, and coordination with project managers, engineers, and cross-functional teams. Candidates need 5–7 years of structured cabling experience, team leadership experience, knowledge of industry standards and testing tools, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to travel to client sites. The position pays $32.83–$43.00 per hour, depending on the location.
