Description
Prolec-GE Waukesha, Inc. is hiring a Test Technician to perform electrical and dielectric testing on 3-phase power step-down transformers and related equipment and parts. The role includes setting up and executing tests such as turns, ratio, polarity, impedance, insulation, corona, impulse, SFRA, BCT, oil quality, and control-box checkout; interpreting test data; preparing reports and NCRs; calibrating meters; troubleshooting electrical problems; and maintaining a safe work environment. The position requires a BSEE or equivalent, or an AA degree in the electrical field with related experience, or a high school diploma or GED with specialized electrical training and three years of experience, or a high school diploma or GED plus four years of progressive QA testing experience.
