Description

MBDA is hiring a Lead Thermal Engineer to work on UK and multinational defence projects, leading and contributing to technically challenging thermal analysis and design activities. The role requires heat-transfer knowledge, computational and manual analysis, CAE tools such as ANSYS, MATLAB, or Python, and experience in regulated design or manufacturing. Additional Information

Minimum Education: Degree qualification in a subject relevant to the role or demonstrable equivalent experience

Preferred Qualifications: Postgraduate qualification in a subject relevant to the role
Experience delivering projects on time, quality, and cost
Experience leading small or large engineering teams
Experience managing thermal performance in extreme high- and low-temperature environments
Experience physically testing components and assemblies to validate thermal analyses
