Description
Dumas Contracting Ltd. is hiring a Lead Mechanic to work across multiple sites in the Timmins Camp, maintaining and repairing heavy mining equipment such as jumbos, bolters, scoops, and haul trucks. The role supervises underground mechanics, performs preventive and corrective maintenance, coordinates repairs and parts, trains and mentors mechanics, and ensures compliance with safety and environmental requirements. It requires a valid Red Seal or Journeyman license, at least five years of heavy-duty mechanic experience, proven leadership experience, and strong knowledge of hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems. The position offers 10–12-hour shifts, a wage of $74.00–$79.45 per hour, potential KPI and referral bonuses, and site-specific travel, accommodation, and meal allowances.
