Petco is hiring a Hospital Leader On Duty to provide veterinary care and customer service in a full-service veterinary hospital. The role assists veterinarians and veterinary technicians with examinations, restraint, laboratory samples, medications, anesthesia, treatments, surgery, dentistry, euthanasia, client education, scheduling, and recordkeeping; maintains hospital cleanliness; trains new staff; and supervises paraprofessional partners. The position requires leadership, communication, telephone and computer skills, compassion, and the ability to work in a demanding hospital environment.
