Description

Beghou is hiring a senior full-stack Databricks application engineer to architect and develop secure, scalable web applications using React, TypeScript, Python, and FastAPI. The role leads production API and Databricks integrations, frontend-backend contracts, authentication, testing, CI/CD, performance, and observability, while mentoring 1–2 full-stack developers and collaborating with product, UX, data, and stakeholder teams. The position requires 8+ years of software engineering experience, including technical leadership, and a bachelor's or master's degree in computer science or a related field.

Additional Information

Minimum Education: Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science or a related field
Required Previous Experiences: 8+ years of software engineering experience, including production full-stack web application development and data-platform integration
2+ years of experience in a technical leadership or team lead role
Hands-on experience with Databricks, Delta Lake, Databricks SQL, Unity Catalog, and applications deployed on or integrated with the platform
Experience integrating FastAPI applications with Databricks APIs, SQL warehouses, jobs, notebooks, and model-serving endpoints
Preferred Qualifications: Experience with React tooling and libraries such as Vite, Redux Toolkit or React Query, Jest, React Testing Library, and Playwright
Experience with Python tooling such as Pydantic, SQLAlchemy, Pytest, dependency management, linting, and type checking
Experience with Databricks Asset Bundles, Databricks CLI, Git-based workflows, Docker, and automated application deployment
Experience operating Databricks and web application workloads on Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud
Familiarity with MLflow, Mosaic AI Model Serving, application observability, performance monitoring, and AI-enabled application patterns
