Citi is hiring a Lead Web3 Engineer to build and maintain the backend of its enterprise-grade Citi Integrated Digital Assets Platform. The role focuses on Java-based blockchain integrations, smart contracts, APIs, microservices, asynchronous processing, security, testing, and production support. Candidates should have a bachelor’s degree in computer science or engineering, extensive software development experience, and strong backend web development expertise; Web3, financial services, Solidity, and DevOps experience are advantageous. The position is full time, based in Citi London, and offers a hybrid model of up to two days working from home per week.
