Description
The Automation and Controls Manager will lead the plant's automation, controls, robotics, machine vision, sensor, and digitalization agenda for composite blade manufacturing. The role owns the automation project portfolio, defines technical direction and priorities, develops and validates automated systems, programs and troubleshoots PLC-based controls, leads commissioning and hand-off, applies manufacturing readiness and process-improvement methods, manages suppliers and integrators, and provides technical leadership and training. The position requires a relevant engineering degree, 5–8 years of manufacturing experience including at least two years leading automation projects, and the ability to work on the factory floor and travel within the United States and Mexico.
