Description
The Lead Assembler oversees and coordinates product assembly in a manufacturing environment, supervising assemblers and supporting production targets, quality standards, training, troubleshooting, process improvement, and cross-departmental collaboration. The role includes leading 6S and continuous improvement projects, quality initiatives, safety and quality meetings, purchasing requisitions, bill-of-materials and drawing reviews, and employee evaluation support. It requires at least eight years of manufacturing experience, knowledge of systems such as Oracle, MES, or True View, the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and physical ability to work in a temperature-controlled industrial environment with PPE, ladders, and elevated structures.
