The Leak Survey Technician II inspects natural gas systems, detects and documents above- and below-ground leaks, investigates and repairs minor leaks, patrols pipelines, uses electronic leak-detection equipment, coordinates with repair crews, and performs meter and system maintenance. The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, a valid driver’s license, leak-detection proficiency, and the ability to work outdoors in varied weather; one year of gas-industry or underground utility construction experience is preferred.
