Description
The Learning and Development Specialist designs, implements, evaluates, and administers on-the-job training and professional development programs for production employees in a manufacturing environment. The role partners with supervisors, subject matter experts, and department managers to create training plans, competency verification processes, skills matrices, qualification standards, and training records, while monitoring program effectiveness and maintaining compliance with FAA Part 145 and other regulatory requirements. The position also administers the Learning Management System, supports career progression and succession planning, and may work across shifts, including occasional adjustment of schedules.
