Description
The Learning Specialist collaborates with students, faculty, and the Learning Strategies team to design inclusive, flexible learning strategies grounded in Universal Design for Learning. The role provides academic coaching, tutoring, strategy instruction, and skill-building for students with disabilities, learning differences, ADHD, and other needs; supports retention and academic success; and maintains records and reports on tutoring and student engagement. It requires a bachelor’s degree in Education or Special Education and at least two years of tutoring experience with students with disabilities at the secondary or post-secondary level.
