Description
The Learning Support Assistant provides targeted assistance to learners with identified learning difficulties and/or disabilities, both in-class and out-of-class settings. This includes implementing individualized learning support strategies to foster learner independence, contributing to curriculum planning, adapting strategies throughout the academic year, and assisting with healthcare plans and personal care needs. The role emphasizes developing accessible resources, integrating assistive technology, collaborating with external agencies, and engaging in continuous professional development.
