The University of Hawaii at Hilo is hiring a part-time, temporary, non-tenure Lecturer (Anthropology) for the 2026–2027 academic year. The lecturer will teach ANTH 150 or ANTH 205, prepare a course syllabus, maintain office hours, and coordinate with department and division chairpersons. Applicants must have a master's degree in Anthropology or a closely related discipline, be able to teach the assigned course(s), and have teaching or work experience in Anthropology or a closely related discipline; a doctoral degree and demonstrated teaching excellence are desirable. The position is contingent on course offerings, student enrollment, position clearance, and funding, and may include day, evening, weekend, and distance-learning teaching.
