Cal Poly Pomona is hiring a temporary, part-time Lecturer A in the Department of Electromechanical Engineering Technology to teach undergraduate courses in subjects such as Statics, Dynamics, Machine Design, Controls and Instrumentation, and C/C++ or Python programming. The role is on-site in Pomona, may include office hours and department meetings, and is filled as needed based on enrollment and funding. Applicants need a master’s degree in mechanical, electrical, or a related discipline, teaching and laboratory skills, and strong communication skills; a Ph.D. and prior university-level teaching experience are preferred. Initial appointments are for one semester, with a maximum anticipated monthly salary of $6,221 and medical, dental, vision, retirement, and tuition assistance benefits.
