Leeward Community College is hiring a part-time, temporary Lecturer, CC (Japanese Language) for Fall 2026, Spring 2027, and Summer 2027. The role teaches assigned Japanese-language courses, maintains office hours, prepares syllabi and teaching reports, collaborates with discipline coordinators, and may include distance-education assignments. Applicants must have functional native Japanese fluency, English communication ability, and a qualifying master’s degree or advanced coursework; community-college teaching experience and adult-learner communication are desirable. The position may be offered at Leeward CC day, evening, or weekend locations, including Waianae Moku and local high schools, pending funding, staffing, and background clearance.
