Description
The Legal Counsel will support a team of lawyers on transaction execution, commercial and power marketing, operational, regulatory, real property, and general commercial matters for hydro, wind, and other utility-scale power generation assets. The role includes advising on corporate governance, supporting project financings and M&A, managing project documents and external stakeholder relationships, and collaborating with finance, capital markets, operations, and tax teams. Candidates must be members in good standing of a Canadian or United States bar, hold an LL.B., B.C.L., or JD, and have 3–5 years of post-call transactional experience; renewable energy, energy/infrastructure, or project finance experience is an asset.
