The NDP is hiring a full-time, temporary Legislative Assistant for MPP Jennie Stevens in St. Catharines, with a four-week contract and annual compensation of $78,801.66. The role supports the MPP’s political and legislative duties through public relations, constituency and office administration, legislative research, policy tracking, and deputizing at hearings. Candidates should have knowledge of the NDP, Canadian Labour movement, Ontario government and public affairs, equity and diversity frameworks, the riding and critic portfolio, communication and writing skills, and experience in the Labour movement or NDP organization; election-campaign experience is an asset.
