Description
The LEO Satellite Controller monitors and controls Telesat Lightspeed satellites and performs scheduled and unscheduled satellite operations, including telemetry analysis, orbit and attitude maneuvers, anomaly response, equipment validation, and reporting. The role works around the clock at the Lightspeed Satellite Operations Centre in Gatineau or Ottawa, requires a three-year technologist diploma in communications, electrical, or electronic engineering or equivalent, and requires a CGP security clearance. Programming and development skills are an asset, and shift premiums are paid for after-hours, weekend, and holiday work.
