Description
The Level 2 Telecom Installer performs unsupervised installation and testing of common telecom systems, including hardware, wiring, fiber, power, Ethernet, serial, and DWDM equipment. The role requires at least two years of relevant experience or equivalent training, the ability to travel extensively, technical knowledge of telecom systems and industry standards, and the ability to work independently in fast-paced field environments. The installer also provides work assignments to lower-level installers, prepares methods of procedure and job documentation, performs quality inspections, and interfaces with customers.
