Description

Armstrong Watson is recruiting for its Start Ahead Early Careers programme, a six-year Chartered Accountant pathway beginning in September 2027. The role provides a full salary, fully funded professional qualifications, training, and placements across business services, audit and assurance, and other client-facing areas. Trainees will develop technical accounting knowledge, commercial understanding, communication, teamwork, problem-solving, and professional skills, with the aim of progressing toward Chartered Accountant or Chartered Tax Adviser status. The programme is based in one of the listed regional offices and requires client visits; candidates must meet specified UCAS points, GCSEs or National Fives, and age requirements, and the firm does not offer visa sponsorship.

Additional Information

Minimum Education: A minimum of 96 UCAS points from A Levels or equivalent Level 3 qualifications, or Scottish Highers / Advanced Highers; and a minimum of 7 GCSEs or 6 National Fives at Grade 5 (C) or above, including Maths, English and at least one science.
