Description
Armstrong Watson is recruiting for its Start Ahead Early Careers programme, a six-year Chartered Accountant pathway beginning in September 2027. The role provides a full salary, fully funded professional qualifications, training, and placements across business services, audit and assurance, and other client-facing areas. Trainees will develop technical accounting knowledge, commercial understanding, communication, teamwork, problem-solving, and professional skills, with the aim of progressing toward Chartered Accountant or Chartered Tax Adviser status. The programme is based in one of five regional offices—Glasgow, Carlisle, Newcastle, Leeds, or Manchester—and requires a minimum of 96 UCAS points or equivalent Level 3 qualifications, seven GCSEs or six National Fives at Grade 5 or above including Maths, English and a science, and the candidate must be at least 18 by 31 August 2027. Visa sponsorship is not available.
