Description

Armstrong Watson is recruiting for its Start Ahead Early Careers programme, a six-year trainee pathway for ambitious students beginning in September 2027. The programme offers a full salary, fully funded professional qualifications, training, and a route toward Chartered Accountant or Chartered Tax Adviser status. Trainees follow either an Accountancy Pathway (AAT Levels 3 and 4, then ACA) or a Taxation Pathway (AAT Level 3, then ATT and CTA), with placements in regional offices in Glasgow, Carlisle, Newcastle, Leeds, or Manchester. Applicants need at least 96 UCAS points from A Levels or equivalent Level 3 qualifications, seven GCSEs or six National Fives at Grade 5 (C) or above including Maths, English and a science, and must be at least 18 by 31 August 2027. The firm does not offer visa sponsorship.

Additional Information

Minimum Education: A minimum of 96 UCAS points from A Levels or equivalent Level 3 qualifications, or Scottish Highers / Advanced Highers; plus 7 GCSEs or 6 National Fives at Grade 5 (C) or above, including Maths, English and a science.
