Description
The Coil Packaging Operator assists with banding coils, verifying serial numbers and work orders, preparing coils for shipping, loading coils onto pallets, moving finished product, and rotating with the Rotary Shear Leveler Operator. The role requires English literacy, overhead crane and forklift operation, banding-tool use, tape-measure and metric-system knowledge, KSC tag understanding, and training in overhead crane, forklift, TPWI-007, and TPWI-019. The position requires physical ability to climb stairs, stand and walk for extended periods, lift 50 pounds, and work in industrial conditions, with safety glasses, bump caps, steel-toed shoes, and hearing protection required.
