Description
The Liaison Coordinator coordinates home care services and durable medical equipment, communicates new programs and services to hospitals, physicians, staff, and patients, obtains patient signatures, explains equipment safety, and provides administrative support. The role also arranges services for patients, educates hospital and physician staff, solves problems, and supports the Liaison and Care Management departments. It requires high school completion or a GED, 1–3 years of job-related experience, customer service and communication skills, and the ability to lift up to 10 pounds and walk throughout a hospital facility.
