Description
The Safety Associate provides an on-site, part-time safety and customer-service presence for a library, patrolling buildings and grounds, monitoring public areas, responding to behavioral concerns and emergencies, de-escalating conflicts, coordinating with law enforcement and emergency responders, documenting incidents, and supporting patrons and staff. The role pays $20.00 per hour and requires physical mobility, reliable attendance, flexible scheduling, and the ability to obtain CPR/AED and First Aid certification; experience in security, public safety, law enforcement, social services, customer service, or crisis intervention is preferred.
