Description
The Appleton Public Library is hiring a Math Tutoring Volunteer for its Homework Hub: Math Edition program launching in Fall 2026. The volunteer will provide one-on-one after-school math assistance to middle and high school students, covering arithmetic, algebra, and geometry, while helping them understand homework, break down complex concepts, offer study tips, and refer them to free academic resources. The role requires proficiency in basic arithmetic, algebra, and geometry, strong communication, a patient and encouraging approach, and predictable attendance for two hours per week on Wednesdays from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. during the school term.
