Description
The Licensed Aircraft Engine Mechanic maintains, repairs, troubleshoots, and overhauls turbine engines, modules, components, and accessories in compliance with FAA regulations, OEM manuals, and airworthiness requirements. The role includes disassembly and assembly, precision inspection, nondestructive testing, documentation, customer contact, and travel of up to 25%. Applicants need a high school diploma or equivalent, 1–5 years of gas turbine engine maintenance and repair experience, an FAA Airframe and Power Plant license or the ability to obtain one within one year, aerospace turbine-engine experience, computer literacy, and U.S. work authorization. Preferred experience includes Honeywell, Rolls Royce, or Pratt and Whitney engine maintenance.
