Description
The Licensed Athletic Trainer attends assigned sports activities, assists team physicians, evaluates and treats injured athletes, maintains athlete records, communicates with coaches, and refers injuries to physicians. The role requires graduation from an approved college or university, NATA/BOC eligibility or certification, and Alabama Board of Athletic Trainers eligibility or licensure, along with the ability to stand, walk, lift up to 50 pounds, and perform physical rehabilitation tasks.
