Description
Portland Tugboat is seeking a Licensed Engineer to serve on the engineering department of the vessel Jackie F McAllister. The role is responsible for operating and maintaining the vessel’s mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, steering, and associated machinery; supervising fuel, ballast, and potable-water handling; repairing onboard equipment; maintaining logs; and ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and environmental systems. The position requires a valid Merchant Mariner’s Credential, TWIC Card, Engineering License, high school diploma or equivalent, and the ability to perform physically demanding work in a hazardous maritime environment.
