Description
Region Västmanland is seeking four physicians for basic medical training (BT) in a 12-month fixed-term position. The standalone BT program begins with work at a training clinic in a primary care center, followed by emergency care and psychiatry, with part of the position based in Köping and the remainder in Västerås. The integrated BT/ST option also includes primary care, emergency care, and psychiatry. Applicants must hold a Swedish medical license, have graduated from a foreign university, meet the BT requirement, and have very good Swedish-language skills at least at C1. The application deadline was October 12, 2026, with in-person interviews scheduled for October 20, 2026, and employment starting for two people in February and two people in May 2027.
