Description
Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) role providing direct and indirect psychiatric patient care in a health system setting. The position involves medication administration, documentation, therapeutic behavioral interventions, communication with the RN and care team, participation in treatment teams and quality improvement activities, and completion of required competency training such as CPI, restraint training, CPR, and age-specific training. Candidates must have a nursing degree and Louisiana LPN licensure, with at least preferred recent medical-surgical or psychiatric clinical experience.
