Description
The Licensed Practical Nurse/Licensed Vocational Nurse provides nursing services, training, and support to individuals with brain injuries, intellectual and developmental disabilities, substance use disorders, and emotional or behavioral disabilities. Responsibilities include monitoring health conditions, administering medications, providing prescribed medical treatment and personal care, conducting assessments, coordinating with medical and external service providers, and training staff and individuals served. The role requires an associate’s degree or related field, state certificate, one year of relevant nursing experience, current state licensure, and required certifications. The schedule is Tuesday through Friday from 2:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. with no on-call requirement, and the starting pay is $30.00 per hour.
