Description
The Licensed Practical Nurse assesses, plans, implements, evaluates, and documents patient care in a urological clinic. Responsibilities include reviewing patient histories, performing urological procedures such as catheterization, blood draws, medication administration, dressing changes, and uroflow and urodynamic testing, assisting with physician examinations, providing patient education, coordinating with surgical scheduling and laboratory services, and following up on lab results. The role requires a current LPN license, BLS certification, completion of an LPN program, and six months to one year of related experience, preferably in urology.
