The Virginia Department of Corrections is hiring a full-time, salaried Licensed Practical Nurse for Baskerville Correctional Center in Mecklenburg, Virginia. The role provides evidence-based nursing care under the direction of a registered nurse, screens sick calls, administers medications, provides first aid and basic life support, maintains medical records, coordinates with security and treatment staff, and supports correctional nursing education. Applicants must graduate from an accredited nursing school, hold a valid Virginia LPN license or a multi-state compact license, and have current Basic Life Support certification.
