Description
The Linn County Sheriff's Office is hiring a Licensed Practical Nurse to provide nursing care and health services to adults in custody within the Linn County Jail. The role involves intake screening, physical assessments, medical recordkeeping, coordination with health-care providers, medication administration, sick-call duties, specimen collection, counseling and education, and limited supervision of corrections deputies during emergencies. The position requires graduation from an accredited nursing school, an unencumbered Oregon Licensed Practical Nurse license, and preferred corrections-nursing experience; applicants must also meet background, psychological, drug-screen, and other employment requirements.
