Description
The Licensed Practical Nurse provides outpatient nursing care and daily office operations support for Springfield Clinic in accordance with patient needs, the Illinois Nurse Practice Act, infection-control policies, and clinic procedures. Responsibilities include patient assessment, documentation, triage, education, referrals, medication administration, specimen collection, clinical procedures, physician assistance, insurance precertifications, procedure scheduling, patient advocacy, and confidentiality. The role requires an approved LPN/LVN education program, current Illinois LPN licensure, and CPR certification within 30 days of hire.
