Description
The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) is responsible for oversight of the medication administration process, scheduling medical/psychiatric appointments, and providing nursing care to program residents. They administer medication, ensure MAR accuracy, communicate with clinical staff, educate patients, triage medical problems, monitor resident conditions, prepare medical consultation forms, maintain medication inventory, provide health education, and participate in quality improvement activities.
