VON Canada is hiring a casual Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN/RPN) for its Visiting Nursing program in Shelburne County, Nova Scotia. The nurse will provide autonomous, person-centred home and community care to clients across age groups, including assessments, primary care, medication administration, wound care, chronic disease management, specimen collection, rehabilitative programs, and palliative care. The role requires Nova Scotia practical-nurse licensure, a valid driver's license, access to a reliable vehicle, satisfactory vulnerable-sector and child-abuse-registry checks, and the ability to wear PPE and meet physical demands. Community health experience is an asset.
