Description
The Licensed Practical Nurse provides direct nursing care to Alzheimer’s living residents and supervises nursing assistants. Responsibilities include evaluating resident needs, planning and implementing care based on medical orders, administering medications, monitoring vital signs, assisting with activities of daily living, and ensuring compliance with medical orders. The role requires current Florida Licensed Practical Nurse licensure and CPR certification, with long-term care experience desirable and experience with handicapped, developmentally disabled, or older adults preferred. The typical schedule is 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM, three days per week, including every other weekend, with evening and weekend shifts available.
