Description
The Licensed Practical Nurse provides patient care under the Nursing Director and a Registered Nurse, using the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care. Responsibilities include performing basic nursing skills and treatments, documenting interventions and patient education, communicating with patients, families, and interdisciplinary staff, maintaining safety and infection-control standards, conducting bihourly rounds, and completing professional development. The role requires a current LPN license, current CPR certification, and up to one year of work-related experience or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
