Description
The Licensed Counselor will advance Memphis Business Academy’s mission by developing and implementing programs to remediate behavioral and social challenges for students. The role includes leading social-emotional classes, completing functional behavior assessments and behavior intervention plans, collecting behavioral data, coaching school teams, supporting teachers, participating in IEP, 504, and student study team meetings, conducting classroom-management workshops, and maintaining intervention records. The position requires Tennessee licensure, a bachelor’s degree, at least two years of experience working with students in education or a residential setting, and expertise in de-escalation, positive behavioral strategies, and crisis prevention.
