Description
Bideawee is hiring a full-time Licensed Veterinary Technician to provide medical care to in-patient and adoption-center animals under the direction of a senior veterinarian. The role includes animal restraint, blood draws, catheterization, laboratory procedures, radiography, anesthesia, surgery assistance, emergency monitoring, shelter records, intakes, and training of veterinary assistants. The position works four days per week from Tuesday through Saturday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., and pays $30 to $34 per hour. An NYS license is required, shelter medicine and spay-neuter surgery experience are required, and five or more years of experience is preferred.
